Originating from the rich musical melting pot of Memphis, pioneering California-based sound artist Ellen Fullman has been a central figure of experimental music for decades. Fullman will speak about her unique artistic practice, her numerous collaborations — including with composer pauline oliveros, choreographer deborah Hay, and the Kronos Quartet — her influences, and contemporary and experimental music on the occasion of the French premiere of her Long String Instrument installation and performance at the Sonic Protest festival.
