For the second “Feel Good Series” on Friday, June 30th, Summer House will host the soulful funk legend from Detroit, Amp Fiddler and the talented young Tenderlonious. Two live performances of exceptional artists in the dazzling setting of the Mona Bismarck American Center, for you to enjoy a breezy evening on the lawn from 7:45 pm onwards.
Former keyboardist for Prince, George Clinton, AMP FIDDLER also collaborates with electronic music artists such as Moodymann, J Dilla and Theo Parrish. Trained in jazz, raised to funk, his solo career lead him to embrace soul and electronica sounds through his various albums for over 20 years.
Based in London, TENDERLONIOUS is one of the spearheads of the new English soultronica scene. Patron of the label 22A, this multi-instrumentalist already has already signed to Ninja Tune, Yoruba Records and has obtained the recognition of big names such as Gilles Peterson, Osunlade or Benji B.
