Date(s) - May 22 - May 25
In partnership with CAPSO (Communauté d’Agglomération du Pays de Saint-Omer), the Mona Bismarck American Center is proud to present Company Stefanie Batten Bland for a series of performances, workshops and events in the context of her first artist residency at the American cultural center.
Company SBB is a contemporary dance theatre company, performing worldwide to present original works by artistic director and founder Stefanie Batten Bland. Based in New York since 2011, the Company was originally founded in France in 2008 with the aim to produce provocative works investigating the human condition, and highlighting the delicate threads that link humans to one another and to our planet. Bienvenue is an interdisciplinary performance that examines the various definitions of walls and our willingness to share space with others, while Germe, a performance at the threshold of art and science, creates an intimate experience through the tendrils of a virally growing organism.
