Wonderwoman, Batman and Superman joined 150 special guests of the Mona Bismarck American Center for the opening night of “Superheroes,” the first museum exhibition celebrating the comic book art of Alex Ross. Ross, acclaimed for the photorealism of his work, is often referred to as “the Norman Rockwell of the comics world.” Featuring a vast selection of paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures from Ross’s personal collection, the pieces ranged from his early career projects with Marvel to more recent work.
