Dear Friends of the Mona Bismarck American Center,
Defined by a bold curatorial vision and a multidisciplinary approach, our mission is to actively engage Parisian audiences of all nationalities in a compelling dialogue with contemporary American art and culture. As the only institution of its kind, the Center’s exhibitions, performances and educational programs enrich the longstanding bonds of French-American friendship, while opening the eyes of new generations to the richness and diversity of American creativity beyond the mainstream.
This year, we have welcomed more than 38,000 visitors, and almost doubled the number of programs over the last year, including the very popular Summer House, described as “the most musical of Parisian summer terraces“, devoted to contemporary American pop culture, bringing in unprecedented new audiences, avid for authentic experiences and connections. However, the level of excellent programming we aspire to is not possible without your financial support. To all of you who have joined our Cercle, made donations, or put money in our collection boxes, we give our heartfelt thanks.
As the year comes to a close, we hope you will include us in your year-end philanthropie plans. There has never been a more important time to maintain our true shared values of diversity, inclusiveness, innovation and mutual understanding as expressed through the creative process.
